The Office of Government Ethics has issued guidance on gifts, outside employment, discounted loans and other free goods or services provided to federal employees during the partial government shutdown.

The Office of Government Ethics has issued guidance on gifts, outside employment provided to federal employees during the partial government shutdown.  The OGE guidance states that federal employees “… may not accept any gift given (1) because of the employee’s official position or (2) from a prohibited source… A prohibited source is any person who is seeking action from the employee’s agency…”   Read the complete OGE guidance here
